Using PowerPoint or Keynote to create your own twitter background

Who would’ve thought that the presentation app used to lull audiences to sleep could also be used to create an appealing Twitter background? The process is fairly simple and only limited by your imagination and Twitter’s 800Kb upload limit.

For those who do not have Photoshop at their fingertips, I found a "how-to" article on using PowerPoint or Keynote to build one.

Twitter can be a little tricky to build a background, but this can give you the maximum control to build it as compared to many of the "free" options that put their URL on your background.
